Quickley

Immanuel Quickley and Cameron Reddish — two of UK’s top recruiting targets in the class of 2018 — took unofficial visits this weekend.

Quickley visited Maryland, his home state school, for the Terrapins’ game against Michigan State on Saturday. The 6-foot-3 point guard is ranked by Scout.com as the No. 2 player at that position and No. 10 overall recruit in the 2018 class.

Reddish — a 6-7 wing from Norristown, Pa. — visited UConn on Sunday. He’s the No. 4 overall player in the Scout.com rankings and a high school teammate of UK target Mohamed Bamba, the No. 2 player in the 2017 class.

Quickley and Reddish both visited UK for Big Blue Madness in October, and both players have scholarship offers from the Wildcats.

Bamba

Mohamed Bamba — the top-ranked, uncommitted basketball recruit left in the class of 2017 — will play a nationally televised game on ESPN on Saturday night.

Bamba, the No. 2 overall player in the Scout.com rankings, leads Westtown School (Pa.) against fellow 7-footer and No. 1-ranked recruit DeAndre Ayton and Hillcrest Prep (Ariz.) at 8 p.m. on ESPN. Ayton has signed with Arizona.

UK hosted Bamba for an unofficial visit on Big Blue Madness weekend. The Wildcats and Duke are split at 50-50 on Bamba’s 247Sports Crystal Ball page, and national analyst Jerry Meyer switched his prediction for Bamba from Duke to Kentucky on Thursday.

Bamba

John Calipari and UK assistant coach Tony Barbee will be in Pennsylvania on Wednesday to see the Westtown School (Pa.) duo of Mohamed Bamba and Cameron Reddish, according to recruiting analyst Pat Lawless.

Bamba — the No. 2 player in the Scout.com rankings for the class of 2017 — is arguably UK’s top remaining recruiting target for this class, and he visited Lexington for Big Blue Madness in the fall. Five-star basketball recruit Cameron Reddish will be at Big Blue Madness on Friday night, according to Ben Sigel of 247Sports.

Reddish — a 6-foot-7 prospect from Norristown, Pa. — is ranked by Scout.com as the No. 1 small forward and No. 4 overall recruit in the class of 2018. UK extended a scholarship offer to Reddish in the spring, and Coach John Calipari has visited his high school a couple of times this fall.

Duke, Kansas, Arizona, UConn and Syracuse are among the other schools that have offered Reddish, who is also high school teammate of top UK target Mohamed Bamba.

Reddish joins fellow class of 2018 prospects Romeo Langford and Immanuel Quickley on UK’s guest list for Big Blue Madness.

Reddish

Five-star small forward Cameron Reddish received a scholarship offer from Kansas on Friday morning.

Reddish — a 6-foot-6 prospect from Pennsylvania — participated in Team USA U17 training camp over the past few days in Colorado Springs, Colo., and he would have made the team if not for suffering a sports hernia injury in one of the final practice sessions.

UK extended a scholarship offer to Reddish earlier this spring. Scout.com ranks him as the No. 6 overall prospect in the class of 2018.

Reddish also has early offers from Duke, Villanova, UConn and Syracuse.
