Highly touted post player Sacha Killeya-Jones committed to Kentucky on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-10, 210-pound power forward from Chapel Hill, N.C., chose the Wildcats over scholarship offers from North Carolina, Kansas, Maryland, Georgetown and several others. He was committed to Virginia for five months until backing out of that pledge in June.

247Sports ranks Killeya-Jones as the No. 18 overall prospect in the class of 2016.

Four-star post player Sacha Killeya-Jones received a scholarship offer from North Carolina on Sunday, two days after he picked up a Kentucky offer while on a campus visit to Lexington.

Killeya-Jones decommitted from Virginia earlier this month.

The 6-foot-10 prospect plays for a high school in Virginia but his hometown is Chapel Hill, N.C., and the Tar Heels are expected to be a major player in his recruitment.

247Sports ranks Killeya-Jones as the No. 30 overall prospect in the class of 2016.

Class of 2016 post player Sacha Killeya-Jones received a scholarship offer from Kentucky during his visit to Lexington on Friday.

Killeya-Jones — a 6-foot-10 prospect from Chapel Hill, N.C. — is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 30 overall player in the rising senior class. He backed off of his five-month commitment to Virginia last week.

Though he’s from Chapel Hill, the four-star recruit plays for a high school in Virginia. Hometown North Carolina is also expected to play a major part in his recruitment.
