Four-star forward Zeke Nnaji cut his recruiting list to five schools Sunday, and Kentucky is no longer in contention.

Nnaji — a 6-foot-10 prospect from Hopkins, Minn. — listed Arizona, Baylor, Kansas, Purdue and UCLA as his final five schools. He was the first prospect that UK Coach John Calipari visited to start the fall recruiting period earlier this month, and Nnaji received a Wildcats scholarship offer during that meeting. He’s the No. 34 overall player in the 2019 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

One day after Zeke Nnaji received a scholarship offer from Kentucky, national analysts are already projecting that he’ll ultimately end up with the Wildcats.

Recruiting experts Jerry Meyer and Andrew Slater both logged Crystal Ball picks in favor of UK for Nnaji on Monday, less than 24 hours after he hosted Coach John Calipari for an in-home visit to start the fall recruiting period. Nnaji is expected to visit Lexington sometime soon.

Four-star post player Zeke Nnaji landed a scholarship offer from Kentucky after meeting with Coach John Calipari on Sunday night, the first day of the fall recruiting period.

Nnaji — a 6-foot-10, 215-pound power forward from Minnesota — had previous scholarship offers from Kansas, Arizona, Ohio State and several other top programs. He played alongside fellow UK target Matthew Hurt on the Adidas circuit over the summer and continues to climb the 2019 recruiting rankings with his stellar post play.
