Offensive lineman | 6-5 | 270
West Chester, Ohio
Meadows is ranked by Scout.com as the No. 37 offensive tackle in the senior class, and he’s considered to be among the best overall prospects in the state of Ohio according to Rivals.com (30th) and ESPN (31st).
The 6-foot-5 lineman had offers from Louisville, Florida State, Michigan State, Illinois, West Virginia and Pittsburgh, and made a post-season visit to Oklahoma. But he decided to go with Kentucky after forming a strong relationship with the school’s new coaching staff.
“Meadows does not appear to be an immediate starter at the BCS level of play,” the player’s ESPN scouting report says. “Providing depth early on while adding bulk to his frame is a distinct possibility.”
“Meadows’ excellent reach, strong hands and playing strength enable him to control defenders once contact is made. Has the size and athleticism for the offensive tackle position at the major level of competition.”
