      Haynes’ recruitment was thrown into disarray when many of the schools pursuing him went through coaching changes after the 2012 season. The new staff at UK initiated contact, and Haynes committed shortly after his official visit to Lexington.
      The Florida native played the tight end position in high school, but he’ll move to the inside of the offensive line at UK. (Scout.com rates Haynes as a tight end, hence the two-star ranking.)
      His ESPN evaluation describes Haynes as “a tough customer who works hard to finish blocks.” Rivals.com rates him as the No. 40 overall offensive guard in the class.
      Haynes chose UK over Central Florida, Florida Atlantic and others.
