      Blue committed to the Cats after taking part in Mark Stoops’ big recruiting weekend that revolved around the UK-Texas A&M basketball game on Jan. 12.
      The commitment was an important one for Stoops. Blue is considered the No. 12 overall junior-college player in the country by ESPN, which rates the wide receiver as a four-star recruit.
      Blue was once committed to Texas Tech, and his relationship with new UK assistants Neal Brown and Chad Scott were instrumental in bringing him to Lexington.
      The Florida native had 65 catches for 1,064 yards and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore for Butler County Community College in Kansas. He will be eligible to play two seasons at Kentucky.
