Huntley-Hatfield

Rivals.com national analyst Corey Evans has put in new predictions for five-star recruits Skyy Clark and Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, and both of those picks are in favor of Kentucky.

Clark and Huntley-Hatfield are the only two players in the class of 2022 with UK scholarship offers so far, though both have been open about the possibility of reclassifying to 2021.

Huntley-Hatfield — a 6-foot-9 forward from Clarksville, Tenn. — is expected to make that move to 2021, which would make the upcoming season his final in high school basketball. Rivals ranks him as the No. 6 overall player in the 2022 class.

Clark — a 6-2 combo guard now living in Nashville — picked up a UK scholarship offer last week and visited Lexington for the Kentucky-Auburn game toward the end of this past season. Rivals ranks him as the No. 17 overall player in the 2022 class, and UK is seen as a major favorite at this stage in his recruitment.

Jaden Bradley

Kentucky is expected to host a trio of young basketball recruits for Friday night’s Blue-White scrimmage at Rupp Arena, and a UK assistant coach was in Cincinnati on Friday morning to meet with another star prospect.

The Herald-Leader reported earlier this week that five-star point guard Jaden Bradley will be at the Blue-White game. He’s the No. 1 point guard in the 2022 class. UK will also host four-star center Shawn Phillips and Huntington Prep shooting guard Kok Yat — both 2022 recruits — for Friday night’s scrimmage. Phillips is the No. 39 player in the 2022 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Jalen Green

ESPN updated its basketball recruiting rankings for the classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 on Monday, and likely Southern Cal commitment Evan Mobley is the top prospect in the next senior class.

Mobley — a post player from California — has not committed to the Trojans yet, but his father is an assistant coach at USC and his older brother, five-star recruit Isaiah Mobley, will be a freshman there this season.

Rivals.com and 247Sports also rank Evan Mobley as the top player in 2020.
